Legend:  W is for Wildwood. Subdivisions are listed North to South as are readings within each subdivision North(N), South(S), Beach at the ravine (M) and in the ravine itself (Rv).     2007 Beach and Ravine samples are taken by ABCA in 3' of water 1' below the surface.

Don't enter ravine water.

Don't Swim if you cannot see your feet at waist depth water of an adult

Water quality readings over 100 proportionally increase the risk of illness. Test results do not reflect current conditions as the quality of the water can change by any combination of high wave action, recent rain and strong winds. Huron County Health precautions are found on their web page Beach Water Quality Note: The Lakebed is contaminated and swimmers are at enhanced risk of illness any time the lakebed is disturbed. This occurs when at adult waist depth the lakebed cannot be seen. This can be caused by any combination of high wave action, recent rain and strong winds. Infection from Lake Huron water could be resistant to some antibiotics due to their use in agriculture - this is a complex issue which we will not go into here.
